NOMADS back on track
May 2, 2017
NOMADS is a group held once a month at the Rockhampton Heritage Village which teaches families the skills of our ancestors. Our session in March was cancelled due to the weather system that bashed QLD resulting from cyclone Debbie. Our participants were keen to get out in the bush again and put their skills to the test.
This month we learned new skills including how a fire plough works, how to roast and use candlenuts, a new trap of the month and how to maintain a fire. Everyone had a great time and are keen to get back to the group in May. If you would like more information about joining or about anything that we do please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 0447 919 056.
Till next time!
